Remember When

Advertisements

There was a time when I wanted to trend so hard that I was “trendy” with my posts and titles. That isn’t the wrong thing to do, but it really isn’t me. If you’ve been around my blog, or even my social media for awhile, you know I’m unique and have quite the writing style. I’m only linking these titles so you can mock me, but don’t read them, it’s embarrassing. These were like, a year ago and they’re bad.

Example one of my terrible decisions.
Example deux of my decent into blogging..
Example tres of I shouldn’t quit my day job
(Like the different languages? Nope? Yeah I know…)

I’ve talked about the fact I used to get the titles and ideas from Pinterest, which clearly was a mistake. Only because I used them to make content I wasn’t passionate about, and you can tell. Those “trendy” titles make sense, but I find it hard to really live through my words with them. If you want to read that, I’ve saved you from having to go look for it.

Normally, just like with my general speaking habits, if it’s something I’m passionate about, or know about, I can just keep going with my rambling. That, and if I’m in a manic. On a side note, work has been weird. I know I only work on Tuesdays, but it’s become, odd. Mornings, because I start at six in the morning, are quiet. My poor drivers get maybe two trips until about noon. And then, it’s almost like a switch, and we get stupid busy. I know that isn’t the most relevant thing, but I wanted to share that with someone.

This blog has been good to me. I cannot thank everyone enough, and I know I say it a lot, but it really has helped get my thoughts in order. And the fact I get to track some memories for that just in case my memory fails again. I love what I do, and you all help me succeed, thank you.
Shameless plug? Always!
Want to support me more? My social media is a good source for what I do when I’m not typing. Twitter and Instagram are the two I use most. Looking to support financially? Yo, I appreciate that! PayPal and Patreon are the best ways to do that!

I know, surprise cat! Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for today, work is starting to get busy. Thanks for stopping by today! Stay safe out there!

Pinterest Blog Titles

Advertisements

I browse Pinterest way too often, and am currently trying to link my blog to it all pretty and such. But when I’m browsing, I get recommended blog titles all the time. Some of them are fun, others just baffle me. I know these are designed to draw traffic, but some of them are just, stereotypical in a sense. Now I’m not here to say people who follow these are wrong, I just don’t use them myself unless I’m really desperate and have crazy writers block. I want to share a few of them with you today.

Took this down by the lake

So today is the 9th right? The first post I find has over one hundred different blog title ideas. The ninth option is “What’s Better __ or __ ?”. Posts like these are fun to write, but feel more like a magazine title than a blog title. Maybe once I learn something about makeup products, I’ll try out titles like that one for good comparisons. Otherwise I’d do something such as ice cream brands. I also get a preppy teenage vibe from it. Unique titles don’t sit SEO vibes, so I understand why people pick the titles they do.

Side note, these posts are all over Pinterest, and they constantly get reuploaded without credit to the original author. Because of this, I won’t be tagging them.

Different post this time. Now we only have fifty two options. Lets double up and check out number eighteen. “The 10 Minute Fix to Doing ____” is this option. Do I like this one? To be honest this one isn’t as bad as some I’ve found. I could see myself writing something for this. “Ten Minutes to Fix Your Attitude” would be a fun twist on that kind of post. Although I’m not the person who would write that. I’ve got my own attitude I’ve got to work on. I say that, it’s mostly my ego. Barely fit through a door sometimes!

Lake looks so nice right now!

Man, some of these are real gems. Like number twenty seven on this other post, “What Makes me Feel Better, Always”. That’s a tad ominous isn’t it? To answer this question, music always brings up my mood. But a lot of title ideas are like this! The writing prompts are much less weird I find than the blog title recommendations. I’ve gathered a healthy amount of pins to browse through if you’re feeling bored. Want to see that mess? Sure you do! Be careful though, I get lost scrolling through that app.

But yeah, that’s all I wanted to bring up today. I’m currently waiting on my lunch to be delivered and then I’m going to get back to work. Thanks for stopping by today! I appreciate it! It’s because of you guys I get to do this! Anyway, later!

Since Getting Back

Advertisements

I’ve been home for two days now, and besides missing drinking and socializing every day with everyone there, I’m glad to be home. I’ve worked that past couple days and work again today, which is helping me get back into the groove of everything. My biggest gripe though is I’ve been waking up at 4:30 every day. I’m almost a total morning person. I’m lying to myself, don’t worry.

Tipping – The way we tip in Canada is very similar to the US, and it is kind of annoying. I understand tipping someone who you believe did a great job, like your hairdresser or a tattoo artist, cause like, art, but the fact that some waitstaff actually has to pay to work because they don’t get paid anything is dumb.

Weather – I woke up this morning to frost, which sucked. But at least it isn’t rain I guess? That reminds me, I need a new winter coat.

Roads – Every road is massive and the vehicles on the are unnecessary. More people should walk and bike. There should not be that many cars running around. Or maybe I just think in an old fashioned style.

Shadow – I missed him <3 He’s the best cat ever! And my dad, my dear dad, I love him and decided that he could babysit Shadow while I was gone. So my dad took Shadow to his house and just kept him for awhile, feeding him chips and blizzards from Dairy Queen. He’s fine and it turns out Shadow is okay with dairy, but like, no my cat has bad eating habits and I’m upset. I’m not all that upset cause I’m glad Shadow was cared for, and I’m glad to be home with him again.

And, I’m broke now, so I’m trying to take extra shifts at work. Here’s to working 60 hours a week… My birthday is Saturday which is exciting! I’m going to have to update some social media to say I’m twenty-two. Eww, I’m already twenty-two. As always, come hang out here and here, and if you wanna celebrate my birthday with me, I’ll be sharing my whole day since I have to work. I appreciate you all! Thanks for reading!
